I am going to be out of town in a few weeks, so I have to stay in hotels at night. However, I am not sure how do the hotels count the hours of one night (I mean from certain time to another certain time as one night). Can someone help me on that?

Hotels have a check-in time and a check-out time. You generally can not check-in prior to check-in time (although there can be exceptions if a room is ready). You generally can not check-out after check-out time (or they may charge a fee to check-out late). If you check-in on Tuesday afternoon and check-out on Friday morning, you’ve stayed three nights.

I’m planning a trip to Paris in the near future and plan on staying in small, budget hotels. However, my dilemma is that I’m not sure if they are able to issue confirmation vouchers. The reason I need one is that I have to apply for a Schengen Visa to enter the EU and one of the documents I must submit is a hotel voucher–which, I believe, is different from a mere confirmation letter. I’d be much grateful for any help you could extend and thanks in advance.

Why dont you try my integrated search on google.
Upper links might help you.

I keep hearing about so many great hotels in Las Vegas I think I am going to divide my stay into two hotels rather than stay in one the entire time (planning on 3 nights in one and 3 nights in another). Which two do you think I should stay in? It’s my first time going to Vegas.

Your idea sounds creative and fun. I suspect you’re a person who will have a great time no matter where you end up. Here’s my itinerary:

(1) Wynn: It’s won more five-star and five-diamond awards than any other hotel in America, so start your vacation here and relax for a few days. Bring comfortable shoes… most of the Strip is accessible from Wynn, but the Southernmost casinos like Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NYNY, and MGM Grand, will be too far for most people to walk.

(2a) Golden Nugget: The rooms and hotel are just average, but you’ll get free admission to their completely awesome shark tank/swimming pool. You’ll be downtown, in old Las Vegas, where each casino has at least one really good restaurant. However: Downtown is seedy, and if you wander away from Fremont Street you’ll see it immediately. If you don’t want any grit in your vacation, consider:

(2b) Monte Carlo or Planet Hollywood: Again, average hotels, but right in the middle of the action-packed south Strip. You’ll have walking access to all the casinos, bars, clubs, shows, and restaurants you could ever want.

If you’re over 35, I recommend trip a. Under, trip b.
Don’t forget the Grand Canyon, and I personally enjoy walking in Red Rock Canyon immensely.

Avoid:
Vdara. Their pool, between two mirror-glass high rises, will fry you like an ant under a magnifying glass.
Sahara. Their buffet isn’t so good.
Paying club promoters. Call the club directly first.

I am planning a week-long trip to New York’s Lower East Side with four friends. Does anyone know any reasonably priced hotels in the city? I would really appreciate the suggestions. Also, typically how much might one expect to pay for a six or seven night stay all inclusive?

These are some of the reasonable priced hotels in Tribeca, NYC.

In American and Canadian cities, the term downtown refers to the heart of a city, which is usually the city’s central business district. A downtown is a significant area which can be considered as the original town which is indeed true if considered the example of a city like New York. As the town of New York grew into a city, the only direction it could grow on the island was toward the north, increasingly upriver from the original settlement. Thus, anything north of the original town became known as “uptown,” while the original town (which was also New York’s only major center of business at the time) became known as “downtown.”

Since then the downtown reflects the area of importance and we can certainly find many such examples which lead us to the above mentioned theory. A downtown is a city’s central business district and automatically is an area of great importance in any city. What are the economy hotels at neighboring hotels at Disneyland like? I’m going there this summer and am trying to spend as little as I can on the hotel so I can spend money on other things like tickets, food, souvenirs, etc. I don’t need a 5 star hotel with all those fancy stuff. I just need a decent place to stay for a few days.

Yeah dont go to the resorts there really expensive. Stay at like the holiday in or some basic hotel withen a few miles of the park. most of those places have discounts on tickets to. Figure you pay like 75 a night for a hotel they always give free breakfast. They give you like 10 off each ticket too. much better then paying like 300 something a night at one of those resorts. I remember the days when i lived at home the father would dish out the money pay for the resorts well not any more for me either!
